Jesus is the Son of God who sacrificed Himself
for us that we would have eternal life.
But, He does more than promising
heaven...
- He provides a way of life that is full of
inner peace.
-
He gives hope when we are afraid, lost,
and discouraged.
-
He offers love when we feel abandoned,
hurt, or depressed.
His Plan of
Salvation
- The simple plan of salvation is asking Jesus for forgiveness and believing
that by His grace we have that forgiveness.
- First, we
are all sinners. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of
God (Romans 3:23).
- Second, we
all are in debt to pay the wages of that sin. The wages of
sin is death (Romans 6:23a).
- But wait,
the good news is that God sent His son, Jesus Christ to pay the debt of sin for
us. That while we were still sinners, God commended His love for us
through the death of His son (Romans 5:8).
- Finally, the
Bible tells us, if we call upon His name, confess our sins,
and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be saved (Romans
10:9-13). The gift of God is enternal life though Jesus (Romans 6:23b)
- All you need
to do is confess your sins to Him, ask for His forgiveness, and ask Him to be the
Lord of your life. Ask Him to change your life today!!! This is no
condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)! We have
peace with God through Him (Romans 5:1)!
